Indoor soccer tips please?

this guy asked me to join his indoor soccer team, because he needed one more player so i joined, so i didnt practice or anything and when the first senior game of the year started, we were facing a stacked team. a guy in grade 12, 6″6, grade 12 guy 6″3 and then a bunch of really good soccer players. we got massacred 7-0 and the audience was booing us, and the ball was always in our defense zone. i know 1 guy on my team is useless, but the rest of us could do a lot better. our next game is in like 2 weeks, what should we do and what tips do you have? WE GOT RAPED!

Well you need to make sure everyone in your team is playing thier strongest positions not just where they want to play. Also as a team play to your strengths if you are good at passing then play ball retention short passing quick movement, if you have a pacy front man then play long ball and hope he can latch on to it, if you are big strong team then then play tough.
You also need time to get used to the way you all play and if you can meet up for a while at some point to train then that would help. Also communication, watch the best team and the best players they are always talking wanting the ball, warning of players coming for you and encouraging each other.
Finally the most important tip I could give is to believe in yourself and your team mates.
